Even though Imperial collected nine hits to McCook MNB Seniors seven, they still fell 8-4 on Tuesday. Mason Wallin led Imperial with three hits. Imperial was the first to get on the board in the first when an error scored one run. Imperial added one run in the second after Kaden Vogt singled after a 7-pitch at-bat. McCook MNB Seniors flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring six runs on three hits to take a 6-2 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in two. Cooper Dillan stepped on the hill first for Imperial. The right-handed pitcher allowed four hits and five runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out two and walking five. Trey Tiller stepped on the hill first for McCook MNB Seniors. They gave up nine hits and four runs (three earned) over six and one-third innings, striking out four and walking four. Gavin Wisnieski led the team with two runs batted in. Brextin Moreno stole two bases. Imperial worked the count all day, tallying six walks. Quentin Terry drove the middle of the lineup, leading McCook MNB Seniors with two runs batted in. The switch hitter went 1-for-4 on the day. Ollie Corbett, McCook MNB Seniors number seven hitter, led the team with two hits in three at-bats. McCook MNB Seniors had patience at the plate, tallying eight walks for the game. Tiller and Simon Garcia led the team with two bases on balls each.
