McCook MNB Seniors Firing On All Cylinders Against Kearney Jersey’s Seniors Game 1

McCook MNB Seniors easily dispatched Kearney Jersey’s Seniors on Saturday at McCook, 15-0. McCook MNB Seniors got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Espn Hall singled, scoring two runs, Ollie Corbett drew a walk, scoring one run, Brody Graham drew a walk, scoring one run, Tristan Campbell singled, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored two runs. McCook MNB Seniors extended their early lead with two runs in the bottom of the second thanks to RBI singles by Quentin Terry and Hall. McCook MNB Seniors scored six runs on three hits in the bottom of the third inning. Bryson Gullion singled, scoring one run, Gabe Roberts singled, scoring one run, Terry doubled, scoring two runs, Miles Pollmann grounded out, scoring one run, and Graham was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. Trey Tiller opened the game for McCook MNB Seniors. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out four and walking none. Andrew Smallfoot started on the hill for Kearney Jersey’s Seniors. They gave up four hits and nine runs over two innings, striking out two and walking five. Rakes doubled in the fourth inning, scoring three runs, and singled in the second inning, scoring one. McCook MNB Seniors got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Gabe Roberts singled, Quentin Terry singled, Simon Garcia hit into a fielder's choice, Miles Pollmann scored after tagging up, and Ollie Corbett singled, each scoring one run. McCook MNB Seniors added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Brody Graham scored after tagging up, Pollmann walked, and Rakes singled, each scoring one run. Noah Mashek stepped on the bump first for McCook MNB Seniors. The starting pitcher surrendered three hits and four runs over two innings, striking out one and walking four. Jack Edwards started the game for Kearney Jersey’s Seniors. The right-handed pitcher gave up nine hits and 12 runs (nine earned) over three and one-third innings, striking out three and walking six.
